The project's foundation lies in the deliberate recruitment and selection of women from local communities, particularly those facing economic vulnerabilities. A transparent and equitable hiring process will ensure that opportunities are accessible to all qualified candidates, prioritizing women from marginalized backgrounds. Job roles will be meticulously designed to accommodate diverse skill sets and physical capabilities, encompassing tasks such as chick rearing, feeding, egg collection, cleaning, record-keeping, and basic farm management. This diversification of roles will provide women with exposure to various aspects of poultry farming, fostering a comprehensive understanding of the operation.

A significant focus will be placed on poultry health management. Women will receive in-depth training on recognizing common poultry diseases, implementing preventative measures, and administering basic treatments. This will include practical demonstrations on vaccination techniques, sanitation protocols, and biosecurity measures. By empowering women to safeguard the health of their flock, the project will minimize disease outbreaks and ensure optimal egg production.

The initial phase of the project will commence with comprehensive community consultations. These consultations will be designed to be inclusive and accessible, ensuring that all segments of the community, including women, marginalized groups, and traditional leaders, have an opportunity to participate. Various engagement methods will be employed, such as public meetings, focus group discussions, and door-to-door surveys, to gather diverse perspectives and insights. These consultations will serve to understand the community's socio-economic context, identify their specific needs and priorities, and assess their interest in the proposed poultry farming project.
